1.Ideapad Gaming 3/HP Pavilion Gaming (Ryzen 5 4600H)

The cheapest offerings of the list, they both offer Ryzen 5 4600H coupled with a 4GB ddr6 GTX  1650 Graphics card. We grouped them as both of them offer surprisingly similar specs at a similar price point. They both have very similar specs and come with all the basic features. The cheapest modes have defaulted to a 1TB HDD but since they are upgradable, won’t be much of a concern. In terms of price and performance, they are a neck-to-neck competition. Either of them won’t let you down. Go for the cheapest laptop. The main differentiating factor between the laptops is their designs, while the Ideapad has a toned-down and more formal design, the pavilion has no intention to hide the look of the beast it is. Do note that if you are not planning to upgrade to an SSD later down the road, never go with the HDD version as it will slow down every aspect of your use. If you want to play esports, go with either the 120hz panel on the Ideapad or the 144hz one on the pavilion. The batteries are small. But only legion down in the list provides more with a 60WH battery.

**Those who look for a gaming laptop in the 50k Budget, please consider saving up a little bit for and buy either of these laptops, if you are really on a tight budget, get an HDD-powered laptop for around 55k and buy an SSD later. It will be a day and night difference. **

consider if the budget is below 62,000.

Pros:

  • Great processor
  • Good graphics card
  • Good build quality
  • Cheapest laptops with this amount of performance.

Cons:

  • Only 2 USB type b ports (plug in a keyboard and mouse, there are no ports left)

  • Base models don’t have SSD

Who is it for:

Those of us on a very tight budget around 50-60k (even I have the IdeaPad), casual gaming, development.

2.Lenovo Legion 5(ryzen 5 4600H , GTX 1650)

This laptop comes with a price tag of around 7000 more than Ideapad which has the same core specs, But it is feature-packed more than enough to justify the price. for example, it has an array of additional ports in the backside to accommodate all your needs, has a 60-WH battery, premium-looking design, and a 170W charging brick. there are many more subtle changes that more than enough justify the cost.it also has dual fan cooling, better stability, and superb speakers.

consider if the budget is between 62,000 and 70,000.

Pros:

  • ample amount of ports
  • 15.6-inch 120hz display
  • 170w charging
  • premium design

  • could have been built with metal
  • display could have been better considering othert parts are premium

3.HP Victus (Ryzen 5 5600h, RTX 3050)

The latest offering from hp, which comes with the latest and greatest Ryzen 5000 series processors, is loaded with all the features you could ask for. While every laptop of this series can be called a superb offering, the Ryzen 5 5500h, RTX 3050 model shines above the rest.it gives an RTX 3050 for less than 10,000 than all the other laptops. It checks all the columns except on displays refresh rate, which might make it less appealing than laptops with lower configurations but with a 120/144hz display like the hp pavilion in this list for esports players. That being said, the 16.1-inch display has a 16:8 aspect ratio, making it an excellent choice for video editing, office works, media consumption, and playing AAA titles.  The laptop also has a 200W charger, 2 fan cooling and Harmen Cardon tuned speakers. For those who need a higher refresh rate and color accuracy, consider the Ryzen 7 version of Victus.

(for those who need the same graphics performance and a high refresh rate panel, ASUS TUF has ryzen 7 4800h coupled with an RTX 3050, a 144hz panel, and 90WH battery. But it will have lower build quality than the Victus. )

consider if the budget is between 67,000 and 80,000.

Pros:

  • Ryzen 5 5600H, the fastest processor in the segment.
  • 16.1-inch display
  • 200w charging and comparatively larger 70WH battery
  • Premium finish and professional look.
  • Excellent cooling

Cons:

  • 60hz refresh rate
  • Relatively on the heavier side.
  • No RGB on the keyboard

Who is it for?

This laptop is best for people whose primary use is for content creation or paying AAA title games as a 16.1-inch display provides more headroom. Also, people who need to code can use this lap after upgrading the ram.

4.Rog Zephyrus 2021 (Ryzen 5 5800HS ,GTX 1650)

The rog Zephyrus is not the fastest one in the list but it is the lightest and smallest of the group, it has a smaller 14-inch size and lights 1.6kg, as much as half a kilo less than its counterparts. It features a Ryzen 7 5800HS (underclocked version of Ryzen7 4800H), and 1650. despite its smaller form factor, it packs a 76WH battery, a 120hz panel with full DCI-P3 coverage, a full magnesium alloy body, and support for power delivery.it has a nice ten-keyless backlit keyboard. If you need better performance, there are costlier offering from the same family that offers up to Ryzen 9 5900hs and RTX3060. for most people who use a 14-inch screen, this lap would give a wonderful alternative to ultrabooks with less power and sleekness.

consider if the budget is between 75,000 and 95,000.

Pros:

  • Smaller form factor
  • 120 Hz display with great colour accuracy(100% SRGB)
  • Sturdy magnesium alloy build
  • Light weight(1.6kg)
  • 76WH battery
  • better notebook than most notebook laptops
  • fingerprint and windows hello

Cons:

  • not as powerfull as Ryzen 7 5800h (at this formfactor, its impossible)
  • Keyboard could have been better as everything else is top quality
  • 14 inch might be small for many people
  • a 3050 would have been nice even if it cost 10k more ,but its more than 100,000

Who is it for?

Those who cannot sacrifice too much on performance and still want a 14-inch device.

who need a premium-looking laptop with Good build quality and metal body.

5.ASUS TUF A15 2021 (Intel i511300H ,RTX 3060)

The Asus TUF series is known for its price to performance ratio. even though their price shot up this year, it did come with a lot of improvements under the hood. need more? seems like they have done some permutation homework, as they provide almost all combinations of processors and Graphic cards, and offer them from 75,000 all the way up to 120,000. intel version costs just above 90k, and AMD ones have been out of stock 80 per cent of the time. even though ALL the laptops in this list consist of and chips, Intel chips won’t let you down during gaming, so it won’t let you down if you buy this laptop for gaming. additionally, Thunderbolt support might be a very essential feature if you need higher bandwidths and faster transfer rates. If your use case fits either of the above, buying intel won’t be a bad choice.

consider if the budget is between 85,000 and 95,000.

Pros:

  • cheapest RTX 3060
  • 144 Hz display would level-up your esports titles
  • much better build quality than previous generations
  • gamer aesthetics
  • 90WH battery

Cons:

  • Amd vertion not on stock
  • Keyboard could have been better as everything else is top quality
  • considering the price , RGB should have been present
  • no MUX switch ( directly rendering displays with graphics card.)

Who is it for?

Those who cannot sacrifice too much on performance and still want a 14-inch device.

who need a premium-looking laptop with Good build quality and metal body.
