Budget laptops

They are tablet replacements they are less powerful and have lower quality bodies than their expensive siblings. They usually come in either 14 inches or 15.6 inches. what they are good at is at giving a desktop environment at an affordable price. they usually have processors starting from Celeron up to the i3 series or ryzen 3.
If you want to find out if a Budget Laptop is right for you, or should you consider other laptops, read this post
Best used for:
They can be just enough for most day-to-day tasks such as editing word documents or attending online classes. if you are looking for a larger screen than a tablet can provide. with a keyboard and mouse, and more storage evening the lower-tier options, they can provide a better experience in any task you throw at them better than a tablet (except for battery backup and interacting with a touch screen). it’s not a simple win either, battery backup is the main drawback of these laptops, with most laptops giving just under 4 hours on a full charge.
another thing to note is the interface. all these laptops come with either Windows or Linux, both of which are complex than android, usually seen in tablets in this range. (there are also a couple of chrome os based laptops, with touch compatibility- check out them too)
If you can ignore these downsides, they offer a bigger display, keyboard, and mouse interface, and a desktop environment for the same price. my first laptop was an HP laptop with a9 processor. Even though it was not a rocket. I learned to program, watched youtube videos, and learned to mess around with OS on that laptop. If you plan to make your hands wet, this is the way to go.
Pros
- Bigger display
- Desktop environment
- Keyboard and mouse
- Large storage
- Upgradability
- Longer lasting
Cons
- Battery life is low
- Not powerful to do anything other than surfing the web or video editing on the lower tier models
- Lower quality
Choosing a laptop:
They are the easiest to choose from. if your budget is between 15 and 35 K, this is the only option. if You have the budget, avoid buying the Intel Celeron/ Pentium and the AMD A-series Apus. the ryzen 3-3rd gen or i3 10th/11th gen is much better and can be even used for light photo/video editing, gaming, etc. ALWAYS PREFER SSDs over HDDs if you don’t exactly need 1TB storage, as it speeds up pretty much everything and improves the usability to a greater extent.
Do not buy 64 gigs EMMC models, because 64 GB is just not enough for a windows 10 in 2021 and you will run out of space in a month, rendering it pretty much useless. in that case, consider buying a tablet- We have made a list for the same too.
