First, you need to buy a VR headset, and there are two ways to do it. either you can get a cheap VR headset, that takes in your phone as a display, which is decent, but much cheaper than the other option, which we will get to in a minute. These headphones start for as low as 600, and you will get a good comfortable pair for as low as 2000. I suggest something like the Procus one-x due to good seller ratings, as most are rebranded versions of the same headset.

Otherwise, if you have enough money, you can get a real VR experience, with something like the Meta Quest 2 pro, which is much more realistic, doesn’t require a Phone, and is much sharper, with more features dedicated to the sole purpose of giving the best VR experience. it has a speaker near your ears to give realistic 3D audio, comfortable memory from contacts with your skin, etc. However, it will also cost significantly higher.

What is augmented reality?

Augmented reality is a technology that overlays digital information on top of the real environment. It uses devices such as smartphones, tablets, glasses, or projectors to display images, text, videos, or other data in the user’s field of view. The user can still see the real environment and interact with it. but animated objects are overlayed on top of the real world so that it seems they are real when viewed through mobile camera/AR glass etc. this is a much more mature concept than VR, as the complexity, as well as required hardware level, are much lower for AR when compared to VR.

  • Navigation: AR can provide directions and information for drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, or tourists. For example, AR can show arrows on the road, landmarks on the map, or reviews on buildings.
